This user-friendly ZOLL AED provides clear support for responders. The ZOLL AED 3 guides the responder in maintaining the correct rate and depth of chest compressions. This greatly increases the chance of survival for a victim in circulatory arrest, as the quality of CPR plays a major role in determining the chance of survival.

Paediatric resuscitation protocol with paediatric button

The ZOLL AED 3 semi-automatic AED has a distinctive green colour and a compact design. There is also a paediatric button on the front of the AED. By pressing this button once, the responder can activate paediatric mode. This immediately activates the paediatric resuscitation protocol, allowing the AED to be used on children under 8 years of age or weighing less than 25 kg. Special paediatric electrodes do not need to be connected.

Semi-automatic

Reliable thanks to MDR certification

The ZOLL AED 3 semi-automatic AED meets the strict requirements of the Medical Device Regulation (MDR). This makes ZOLL one of the first manufacturers to obtain CE certification under the MDR. This defibrillator is also FDA certified.

Automatic self-tests

To ensure that this AED is ready for use in an emergency, it performs the following self-tests every week:

• - Electrode presence self-test
• - Capacitor frequency self-test
• - Battery capacity self-test

Suitable for dusty and damp areas

This defibrillator has an IP55 rating. This rating indicates how well the AED is protected against dust and water. Thanks to its high IP rating, the ZOLL AED 3 can be installed in dusty areas. As the AED is resistant to splashing water, it can also be installed at locations such as swimming pools.

Battery and electrodes

The compatible battery for this AED is the ZOLL AED 3 battery. This is a lithium battery with a standby service life of approximately 5 years. Please note: when PlusTrac™ is used, the expected service life of this battery is 3 years.

The ZOLL AED 3 semi-automatic AED uses ZOLL AED 3 CPR Uni-padz electrodes. These electrodes have a shelf life of 5 years and can be used on both children and adults. The Uni-padz electrodes have a special CPR sensor that helps you apply the electrodes in the correct position and provides real-time CPR feedback.

As both the electrodes and the battery have a service life of 5 years, the ZOLL AED 3 has low maintenance costs.

ZOLL PlusTrac™ (optional)

You can register your ZOLL AED with ZOLL’s PlusTrac™ AED programme management system. PlusTrac™ allows you to monitor the current status of your AED(s), batteries and electrodes using interactive reports and alerts. Using PlusTrac™ reduces the expected battery service life from 5 years to 3 years.

Compatible carry case or storage case

To store and transport the ZOLL AED 3 semi-automatic AED safely, it is advisable to keep it in a dedicated AED carry case. AED-Partner offers the robust and distinctive yellow ZOLL AED 3 carry case.

Regular maintenance ensures that your AED remains fully ready for use. At AED-Partner, you can take out a service subscription to arrange this maintenance. We will notify you when the battery and/or electrodes of your AED(s) need to be replaced. After the AED has been used, we will also be on site within 6 hours to perform maintenance.
