Last Saturday, De Stek in Gemonde was dedicated to life-saving actions during the Resuscitation Day, organized by Hartwacht Sint-Michielsgestel.

Under the guidance of the first aid association St. Michael, participants were trained as First Responders, also known as citizen rescuers. In addition, there was a refresher course for people who had previously completed this training.

On behalf of AED-Partner, Annemieke was present to explain the different AEDs and the importance of rapid deployment in case of cardiac arrest.

It's beautiful to see how involved residents, volunteers, and organizations work together to create a heart-safe environment. Because the more people know what to do, the greater the chance that help will be provided in time.
