The Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 battery is designed for the LIFEPAK CR2 AED. This battery has a standby life of 4 years and supports either 166 defibrillation shocks at 200 Joules or 103 shocks at 360 Joules. The CR2 battery is non-rechargeable.

How do I replace the Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 battery?

You can easily replace the CR2 battery via the back of the AED by lifting out the old battery and inserting the new one. Do not open the AED lid until the device emits 3 or 6 beeps.

Depending on the service agreement you have with AED-Partner, we can replace the battery for you during a scheduled service visit.

Do the electrodes also need replacing?

Do you need to replace the electrodes as well as the battery soon? You can also order new Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 electrodes from us.

Service agreement

Regular maintenance ensures your AED is always ready for use. You can take out a service agreement with AED-Partner to manage this maintenance. We will notify you, for example, when your AED's battery and/or electrodes need replacing. We also provide on-site maintenance within 6 hours following an incident where the AED was deployed.
