Product information
Unique ECG analysis during chest compressions
This fully automatic white AED is unique because it is the only AED that can perform an ECG analysis while the responder is performing chest compressions. This allows blood circulation to be stimulated continuously, increasing the chance of successful resuscitation. This makes the AED particularly suitable for professional responders.
Guidance with spoken instructions, illustrations and a metronome
During use, the Physio-Control CR2 supports the responder with spoken instructions and clear illustrations. Thanks to its built-in metronome function, the AED also uses audible signals to indicate the correct chest compression rate. Are you using the AED in a noisy environment? The AED automatically adjusts the volume so that the instructions remain clearly audible.
Fully automatic
This Physio-Control AED is fully automatic. This means that when the AED detects a shockable rhythm, it delivers the shock automatically. The responder does not have to press the shock button. Are you looking for a semi-automatic AED that requires the responder to press the shock button? Take a look at the Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 semi-automatic AED.
USB, Wi-Fi or 3G?
The CR2 AED features the latest technology, including Wi-Fi connectivity. Is the battery almost empty? You will receive an immediate notification. This helps you ensure that the AED is always ready for use. The built-in Wi-Fi function also makes it possible to send important information, such as ECG data, to emergency services during and after use.
Automatic self-tests
The device automatically performs daily, weekly and monthly self-tests.
Suitable for dusty and damp areas
This CR2 AED has an IP55 rating, meaning that it offers very high resistance to dust and water. You can therefore install the AED in almost any location, including dusty workshops or damp environments such as a sauna.
Battery and electrodes
The compatible battery for this fully automatic AED is the Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 battery. This battery has an expected standby service life of up to 4 years.
The LIFEPAK CR2 uses Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 electrodes. These pre-connected electrodes feature pacemaker detection and have an expected shelf life of up to 4 years.
Paediatric mode with paediatric button
Separate paediatric electrodes are not required when using the Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 on children weighing up to 25 kg or aged up to 8 years. The AED has a special paediatric button that allows you to activate paediatric mode.
Compatible carry case or storage case
To protect the AED during storage or transport, it is advisable to keep it in a carry case, such as the Physio-Control LIFEPAK CR2 carry case. This carry case is available as an option.
