This bilingual G5 fully automatic provides optimal support during resuscitation and makes a real difference in life-saving CPR. This defibrillator is equipped with a CPR sensor, enabling the AED to give the rescuer immediate feedback on the speed and depth of chest compressions during resuscitation. Thanks to this so-called 'real-time CPR feedback', the rescuer can perform the resuscitation as effectively as possible, increasing the chances of survival for a victim in cardiac arrest.

User-friendly and accurate analysis

This Cardiac Science AED uses audible signals to indicate the correct pace for chest compressions (metronome function). The AED also provides the rescuer with continuous information and support through voice instructions during the resuscitation.
The Powerheart G5 fully automatic AED features pacemaker detection and has an extremely accurate asystole detection threshold. This means this AED can deliver a shock even for the weakest heart signal. The G5 can also deliver a variable escalating shock. The AED itself determines the appropriate amount of energy for the shock, depending on the resistance in the victim's body.

Automatic shock delivery

This AED is fully automatic. This means that when the AED detects a shockable rhythm, it can deliver a shock on its own. The rescuer does not need to press the shock button themselves. Reliable thanks to automatic self-tests

This defibrillator is FDA-certified. This means that the G5 meets the strictest requirements in the medical market. To ensure that the Powerheart G5 fully automatic is ready to use in an emergency, the AED performs the following self-tests as standard:

1. Self-test electrode presence (daily)
2. Self-test electrode functionality (daily)
3. Self-test capacitor frequency (monthly and weekly)
4. Self-test battery capacity (daily)

Suitable for dusty and humid environments

Thanks to its high IP rating (IP55), this G5 is very suitable for environments that are dustier or more humid than average. You can therefore place this AED without any issues in, for example, a sawmill or swimming pool.

Battery and electrodes

The matching battery for this AED is the Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 battery. The manufacturer's warranty on this battery is 4 years. You can replace this battery yourself easily, using the manual supplied with the AED. Cardiac Science is, in fact, the only AED manufacturer that offers 4 years of unconditional warranty on batteries. This underlines the quality that Cardiac Science aims for.
The Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 CPR electrodes are supplied as standard with this AED. These electrodes feature a CPR sensor that provides useful CPR feedback on the pace and depth of chest compressions during resuscitation. At AED-Partner, the Powerheart G5 electrodes without CPR are also available.

Paediatric electrodes

To use the Powerheart G5 fully automatic on children weighing up to 25 kg or under 8 years of age, special paediatric electrodes are available. These electrodes for children do not include CPR feedback functionality.

Maintenance and service (1st year free!)

Regular maintenance ensures that your AED is always ready for use. At AED-Partner, you can take out a service subscription to arrange this maintenance. We will notify you, among other things, when the battery and/or electrodes of your AED(s) need to be replaced. We will also be on site within 6 hours following a deployment. When purchasing this AED, you will receive one year of all-in service free of charge (view all conditions).
