Following the Dutch example, the concept of the Neighborhood AED is now also being rolled out in Sweden.
Together with the neighbors, raise money for a heart-safe neighborhood. With fine-meshed coverage of over 25,000 registered AEDs, the survival rate has increased to as much as 25%. This makes the Netherlands the most heart-safe country in the world.

Currently, there are still too few AEDs available in Sweden.
Only 32% (630) of all registered AEDs are located in residential areas, while 70% of cardiac arrests occur at home.

Therefore, the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation, in collaboration with Philips and a health insurer, will work to increase the chances of survival in Sweden as well.
