AED on the go

Always prepared for cardiac arrest

On the train or in the middle of a festival site: cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere. The sooner the victim receives help, the greater the chance of survival! With mobile AEDs, your organization can make the crucial difference at that moment. Bystanders or first aiders can then quickly come to the rescue and administer a life-saving shock, even before the ambulance arrives.

Which AED is suitable for on the go and events?

For on-the-go use, we recommend a compact and robust AED with a high dust and water resistance rating (IP value). As these devices are often moved, a sturdy carrying case with space for spare electrodes and a Rescue Kit is important. For busy event locations, a model with visual instructions and direct resuscitation feedback is a smart choice. With our AED Choice Assistant, you can quickly and freely discover which AED suits your situation:

In short: AEDs for on the go

  • Always a quick AED on site.
  • Protective bag included.
  • Temporary rental and leasing possible.
  • High shock resistance for transport.
  • Maintenance necessary for usability.

An AED for first responders and emergency response officers

As a first aider or citizen responder, you want to be able to grab and use the AED quickly in an emergency. Whether you run, cycle, or drive to the victim: we advise always transporting the AED in a protective carrying case or backpack. Trained medical personnel often choose semi-automatic AEDs because it allows them to determine exactly when to deliver the shock.

AEDs for public transport

On trains, trams, or buses, you are responsible for a large group of passengers. Unfortunately, the time between cardiac arrest and the arrival of an ambulance in traffic is often unpredictable. Bystanders therefore play a vital role in public transport. With a fully automatic AED on board and/or at central locations such as train stations, bystanders can quickly provide life-saving assistance.

Rent an AED for an event?

For events such as festivals, sports tournaments, or markets, the presence of an AED is often a requirement in the permit. Renting is then a smart and cost-effective solution. You will receive a ready-to-use AED from us, including a bag, and after the event, you send the device back to us. This way, you meet the safety requirements without a large investment.

Installation and Maintenance of Mobile AEDs

Every AED requires maintenance, but a mobile AED perhaps even more so. With regular checks, you can be sure that the AED is still functioning properly and ensure that parts are replaced in a timely manner. We can support you with this. With our remote monitoring AED Check (AED-Monitor), we can keep an eye on your AED remotely. This way, we always know where your AED is and whether the AED is, for example, experiencing a malfunction.

Frequently asked questions

AEDs for aviation must meet specific certifications (TSO mark). These devices are tested for factors such as air pressure differences and electromagnetic radiation, ensuring they do not interfere with an aircraft's onboard systems. Not every standard model can simply be brought aboard a commercial aircraft.

For specific questions about this, please contact our Customer Service.

Yes, at AED-Partner you can rent an AED temporarily or lease it for a longer period. If you choose to lease, we will send you the AED ready for use and complete with all accessories (such as a bag and Rescue Kit). Maintenance is also included with leasing: we monitor the AED remotely and will take immediate action if parts are (almost) due for replacement or if the AED has been used.
