Philips HeartStart FR3 Electrodes (Set of 5)

The Philips HeartStart FR3 electrodes (Smart Pads III) are specifically designed for use with the Philips HeartStart FR3 AED. This package contains five sets of electrodes, making it ideal for organizations with multiple AEDs or for maintaining a backup supply. The electrodes are not pre-connected; they should be stored unopened alongside the AED.

Thanks to the Philips HeartStart FR3 AED's infant/child key, these electrodes can also be used on children weighing up to 25 kg or under the age of 8. This versatility makes them suitable for a wide range of resuscitation scenarios.

When should the Philips HeartStart FR3 electrodes be replaced?

These electrodes have a shelf life of 2 years. This means they must be replaced at least every 2 years, or sooner if the packaging is damaged or after the AED has been used in an emergency.

Do your electrodes need replacing? Order a new set from AED-Partner and store it unopened with the AED. Old electrodes can be disposed of with small electronic waste or general waste.

Do you want to replace the electrodes and battery at the same time? The Philips HeartStart FR3 battery is also available from AED-Partner.

Why do these Philips electrodes need to be replaced regularly?

The conductive gel on the electrodes can dry out over time, reducing their effectiveness. It is vital that your AED is always equipped with electrodes that are within their validity period.

Service Subscription

Regular maintenance ensures your AED is always ready for use. You can take out a service subscription with AED-Partner to manage this maintenance. We will notify you, for example, when the battery and/or electrodes of your AED(s) need replacing. We also provide on-site maintenance within 6 hours following an emergency deployment.
