The Defibtech Lifeline View battery is designed for the Defibtech Lifeline View AED. It has a standby life of approximately 4 years (when installed in the AED). Unlike the battery for the standard Defibtech Lifeline, which consists of a small 9-volt battery paired with a larger battery pack, this is a single, integrated battery unit.

How do I replace the Defibtech Lifeline View battery?

You can easily replace the Defibtech Lifeline View battery by pressing a button on the back of the AED. A spring mechanism then ejects the old battery, allowing you to easily insert the new one.

Depending on the service agreement you have with AED-Partner, we can replace the battery for you during a scheduled service visit.

Do the electrodes need replacing too?

If you need to replace the electrodes as well as the battery, you can order new Defibtech Lifeline View electrodes from us.

Service agreement

Regular maintenance ensures your AED is always ready for use. You can take out a service agreement with AED-Partner to handle this maintenance. We will notify you, for instance, when the battery and/or electrodes of your AED(s) need replacing. We also provide on-site maintenance within 6 hours following an incident where the AED was deployed.
