The CU-Medical i-PAD SP1 battery is designed exclusively for the CU Medical i-PAD SP1 AED. Although the SP1 battery resembles the NF1200 battery, they are not interchangeable.

How do I replace the CU-Medical i-PAD SP1 battery?

The SP1 battery is located on the left side of the AED. Simply remove the old battery and insert the new one; you will hear a click when it is correctly seated. Once installed, an 'O' will appear on the status screen. If the AED is not yet ready for use, an 'X' will appear instead.

Depending on the service agreement you have with AED-Partner, we can replace the battery for you during a scheduled service visit.

Do the electrodes need replacing too?

If you need to replace the electrodes as well as the battery, you can order new CU-Medical i-PAD SP1 electrodes from us.

Service agreement

Regular maintenance ensures your AED is always ready for use. You can arrange this maintenance by taking out a service agreement with AED-Partner. We will notify you when the battery and/or electrodes of your AED(s) need replacing. We also provide on-site maintenance within 6 hours following an incident where the device was deployed.
