These ZOLL AED Plus batteries are designed for the ZOLL AED Plus. This set consists of 10 CR123A-type batteries. ZOLL specifically mandates the use of these Duracell batteries; using other types may cause the AED to malfunction.

How do I replace the ZOLL AED Plus batteries?

There is a battery compartment cover on the back of the ZOLL AED Plus. Opening it reveals 10 batteries arranged in three rows: left, right, and center. Start by removing the old batteries from the left row (four batteries), followed by the right row (also four batteries). Finally, remove the two batteries from the middle row.

Then, insert the new batteries in the same order: first the left row (4), then the right (4), and finally the middle two. Once all the new batteries are in place, the defibrillator will prompt you to confirm the replacement. You can do this by pressing the button located above the middle row of batteries once. Following the replacement procedure in this specific order ensures the device functions correctly.

Depending on the type of service agreement you have with AED-Partner, we can replace the batteries for you during a scheduled service visit.

Service Agreement

Regular maintenance ensures your AED is always ready for use. You can take out a service agreement with AED-Partner to handle this maintenance. We will notify you, for instance, when your AED’s batteries and/or electrodes need replacing. We also provide on-site maintenance within 6 hours following an actual deployment of the device.
