Primedic HeartSave Savepads electrodes for adults

You can use these Primedic HeartSave Savepads electrodes during the resuscitation of an adult or a child (when using the child mode button). This type of electrode cannot be pre-connected and is suitable only for older models of the HeartSave AED.

Pre-connected HeartSave Savepads electrodes are also available. The correct type of electrode depends on the AED's serial number. Want to know which electrodes fit your AED? Please contact our customer service department.

These electrodes are self-adhesive. Diagrams on the electrodes indicate how to apply them to the victim's chest.

You can also use these Savepads for children weighing less than 25 kg or under the age of 8, provided you activate the child mode button on the Primedic HeartSave AED.

How do I replace the Primedic HeartSave Savepads electrodes?

These electrodes have a shelf life of 3 years. This means you must replace them at least every 3 years, or sooner if the packaging is damaged or after use.

Do your AED's electrodes need replacing? You can order a new set of Primedic HeartSave Savepads electrodes  from AED-Partner. You can dispose of the old set with small electronic waste or general waste.

Does the battery also need replacing? AED-Partner offers two versions of the Primedic HeartSave battery: the HeartSave battery with a lifespan of 3 years and one with 6 years.

Why do these Primedic electrodes need regular replacement?

The shelf life of these electrodes is determined by the adhesive gel layer on the electrodes. This conductive gel can dry out over time, reducing the effectiveness of the electrodes. It is therefore crucial that your AED is always equipped with electrodes that are within their validity period.

Service Plan

Regular maintenance ensures your AED is always ready for optimal use. You can take out a service plan with AED-Partner to handle this maintenance. We will notify you, for instance, when the battery and/or electrodes of your AED(s) need replacing. We also provide on-site maintenance within 6 hours following an incident.
