Philips HeartStart HS1 trainer

The Philips Heartstart HS1 trainer is a lifelike replica of the 'real' AED. This allows trainees to optimally prepare for the use of an AED during a life-threatening situation.

The Philips Heartstart HS1 trainer simulates the shock. This is the biggest difference compared to a 'real' AED. As a result, different electrodes are required for the trainer. These training electrodes can be used multiple times, so the training costs have been taken into account.

AED-Partner recommends the use of an adapter (internal or external). This adapter can be used in combination with a resuscitation dummy. This ensures that the shock protocol proceeds just as in a realistic situation.

The trainer runs on 4x AA batteries. These batteries are not included with the trainer.

Optionally, a remote control can be supplied. With the help of the remote control, the instructor can pause, fast-forward, or rewind the various resuscitation protocols (8). These resuscitation protocols are in line with the European ERC resuscitation guidelines. This significantly facilitates the training, as there is now more time to explain things to the trainees.

The Philips Heartstart HS1 trainer provides CPR instructions, has a metronome function, and displays a CPR tempo indication. As a result, the trainer contributes to high-quality training.

The trainer is delivered ready to use, complete with a training cassette suitable for adults and a manual.
