The Philips HeartStart FRx AED has been deliberately kept simple: no unnecessary functions or distractions, but clear guidance when every second counts. This makes it easy to use for inexperienced rescuers and a reliable, solid choice for professionals who simply want to be able to count on their AED.

In an emergency situation, you can easily activate the Philips HeartStart FRx AED by pressing the green ON button. This AED supports the rescuer during CPR and the use of the AED with spoken instructions. The HeartStart FRx AED is also equipped with a handy metronome function: the AED indicates the desired chest compression speed using sounds.

Semi-automatic

The Philips Hearstart FRx AED is always semi-automatic. This means that when the AED detects a shockable rhythm, the rescuer must press the shock button themselves.

Battery and electrodes

This AED is delivered ready for use. Includes the Philips Heartstart FRx battery ; this battery has an expected lifespan of 4 years. This AED comes with Philips Heartstart FRx electrodes . These electrodes are packaged in a plastic cassette, ensuring they are well protected until potential use, and have a lifespan of 2 years.

Baby/child key

To use this AED on children weighing up to 25 kg or under the age of 8, it is necessary to order the Philips Heartstart FRx baby/child key . As soon as you insert the key into the AED, the child protocol starts automatically and the energy level is reduced. Thanks to this special baby/child key, you do not need separate child electrodes.
