Philips HeartStart HS1 electrodes

The Philips HeartStart HS1 electrodes are designed for adults and come in a sturdy plastic cartridge. This cartridge provides optimal protection for the electrodes until use and allows them to be easily connected—pre-connected—to the Philips HeartStart HS1 AED.

Features of the Philips HeartStart HS1 electrodes

These self-adhesive electrodes feature clear diagrams on both the cartridge and the electrodes themselves, ensuring quick and correct placement during an emergency. This makes the electrodes user-friendly and reliable.

Compatibility

These electrodes are suitable for:

• Philips HeartStart HS1 AED
  To use the HeartStart HS1 AED on children weighing up to 25 kg and/or aged 8 or younger, you need HeartStart HS1 pediatric electrodes.

Shelf life and replacement

The electrodes have a shelf life of approximately 1.5 years. They must be replaced immediately after use, if damaged, or if the cartridge has been opened. Old electrodes can be disposed of as small electronic waste.

Cost-effective combo set

In addition to individual electrodes, you can choose a value set that includes a Philips HS1 battery. This saves money and provides a complete maintenance solution for your AED.

Why replacement is important 

The conductive gel layer on the electrodes can dry out over time, reducing functionality. Regular replacement is essential to ensure your AED is always ready for use.

Service plan

Regular maintenance ensures your AED remains in optimal working condition. You can take out a service plan with AED-Partner to manage this maintenance. We will notify you, for instance, when the battery and/or electrodes of your AED(s) need replacing. We also arrive on-site within 6 hours to perform maintenance following an incident.
