Defibtech Lifeline infant/child electrodes

These Defibtech Lifeline electrodes for children are designed for use with the Defibtech Lifeline AED. You can connect this electrode set to the AED beforehand (pre-connected) so that the device is always ready for use. Alternatively, you can choose to connect these pediatric electrodes only when they are actually needed.

These electrodes are self-adhesive. The packaging and the electrodes themselves feature diagrams showing where to place them on the victim's chest.

These Defibtech Lifeline electrodes for infants and children are suitable only for children weighing up to 25 kg and/or aged 8 years or younger. To use a Defibtech Lifeline AED on heavier/older children or adults, you need Defibtech Lifeline adult electrodes.

How do I replace the Defibtech Lifeline pediatric electrodes?

These electrodes have a shelf life of 2 years. This means you must replace them at least every 2 years—or sooner if the packaging is damaged or after the device has been used in an emergency.

Do the pediatric electrodes for your AED need replacing? You can order a new set of Defibtech Lifeline electrodes for infants and children from AED-Partner. You can dispose of the old electrode set with small electronic waste or general waste.

Cost-effective combo pack

Do you also need to replace the Defibtech Lifeline AED battery (soon) in addition to the pediatric electrodes? Then order the Defibtech Lifeline battery (which includes a 9-volt battery) or just a 9-volt battery.

Why do these Defibtech electrodes need to be replaced regularly?

The shelf life of these electrodes depends on the adhesive gel layer applied to them. Over time, this conductive gel can dry out, reducing the electrodes' effectiveness. It is therefore crucial that your AED is always equipped with electrodes that are within their validity period.

Service Plan

Regular maintenance ensures your AED is always ready for optimal use. You can take out a service plan with AED-Partner to manage this maintenance. We will notify you, for instance, when the battery and/or electrodes of your AED(s) need replacing. We also provide on-site maintenance within six hours following an incident.
