Product information
Features of the Ambu IV infusion arm trainer
- Presented extremely realistically
- Replaceable skin, veins, and arteries are an indicator panel for direct monitoring and feedback on whether, for example, an infusion has been performed correctly.
- Carrying bag also serves as an exercise mat
- Compatible with all Ambu training mannequins
The IV trainer comes with a replaceable skin, 3 veins, and one artery. The veins are made of natural latex, which has the property of completely closing holes after penetration.
The veins and arteries are equipped with indicators on the control panel showing the color change during an injection or infusion to promote an interactive learning process.
The forearm can rotate 180°, and the elbow and wrist bend realistically; these rotating joints make it easy for the user to find an ideal position. The upper arm is intended for measuring blood pressure. The fluid is located in a reservoir in the arm (near the shoulder), which facilitates refilling.
The brachial artery is used for training in measuring the pulse.
The Ambu IV Trainer comes with an infusion stand, red dye concentrate, talcum powder, and 5 ml & 50 ml syringes. Supplied in a carrying case/washable liner.
