Buying an AED trainer: what should you pay attention to?
An AED trainer is essential for realistic CPR training. Although a trainer looks identical to an actual AED, an AED trainer cannot deliver a shock. When choosing the right AED trainer, you can opt for the model that corresponds to the actual AED installed within your organization. This allows employees to practice with a device that features the same buttons and voice instructions as the real model. This boosts their confidence and decisiveness should they need to use the actual AED in an emergency.
Universal trainers vs. brand-specific models
In our range, you will find two types of trainers. Brand-specific trainers are replicas of well-known devices, such as those from ZOLL, Mindray, Philips, or Defibtech. These are ideal if you want to train specifically on one type of device. In addition, we also offer 1 universal AED trainer. This device is more economical than the brand-specific trainers and is suitable, for example, for CPR instructors who teach at various locations.
Accessories for your AED trainer
To use an AED trainer during a session, you need the right accessories. Think, for example, of extra training electrodes. These electrodes are designed to be reapplied time and again without losing their adhesive strength.
