Vesteda is a property investor and landlord of nearly 28,000 apartments and single-family homes in the Netherlands. Their goal: to become the best landlord in the Netherlands. And they are well on their way to achieving this. For example, Vesteda aims to have 99% of its homes with a green energy label by 2024. Vesteda is also committed to safe living in and around Vesteda homes. And that's where AEDs come in!

A few years ago, Vesteda already had the idea to equip several apartment complexes with an AED. 35 AEDs were then ordered from an online AED sales point. About half of them were hung up at the time, and the remaining AEDs ended up in the storeroom.

In 2023, Vesteda also wanted to have this batch of AEDs installed. Cesar Pasmans from Vesteda is involved in this: “Through a friend of a friend, we found AED-Partner, and it turned out to be a good choice. Everything was arranged quickly and well from the first contact! AED-Partner picked up the AEDs at our head office in Amsterdam and checked them thoroughly. We also immediately took out a service subscription for all the AEDs. This way, we are sure they always meet the requirements.”

The right locations
“With the help of our regional offices, HartslagNu, and AED-Partner, we have determined where the AEDs can be best utilized. Our starting point was not only to help our tenants but also to contribute to the national coverage of AEDs. Therefore, where possible, we opted for placement in public areas.”
