Technische Unie is a wholesaler of technical installation materials for construction, installation, and industry. Wholesale with an emphasis on LARGE: no fewer than 2,200 people work there. How do you ensure they can all work safely (heart)? Among other things, with AEDs!

<\/strong>Nico Boerman is Manager Security and First Aid at Technische Unie:
\u201cWe have a total of approximately 50 AEDs, distributed across various branches and pick-up points. We handle the maintenance of these AEDs ourselves: we have been replacing the batteries and electrodes in-house for 17 years. However, this year we reached a point where a large portion of those AEDs had reached their maximum age: they were truly due for replacement. In the past, AED-Partner has helped us well and quickly, which is why we approached them again for advice. And that experience was once again very positive!

Immediately after our approval of the quote, an employee from AED-Partner called us and said, \u2018Thank you, that's great!\u2019 and arranged everything perfectly. Our new Mindray AEDs have arrived and we are in the process of installing them. It's great that we can reuse the carrying handles from the old AEDs; the new AEDs fit perfectly in them, including the carrying case.\u201d<\/em>

Even more AEDs: AED-Partner sponsors Roparun<\/strong>
Even outside the workplace, Technische Unie is involved with AEDs. Every year, the company participates in the Roparun: an relay race from Paris to Rotterdam. The goal: to raise money for palliative care for people with cancer. An adventure for life, therefore.

In addition to enough food, drink, and first-aid kits, Technische Unie's teams have also been taking a few AEDs with them for a few years now.
