Zowel in de recreatieve sportbranche als in de professionele sportwereld spelen AED\u2019s van tijd tot tijd een cruciale rol. Een voorbeeld hiervan is de inzet van een AED eerder dit jaar tijdens een Belgische oefenwedstrijd van VC Greenyard Maaseik. Tijdens die wedstrijd zakte plotseling \u00e9\u00e9n van de volleyballers in elkaar. Dankzij het snelle handelen van omstanders kon hij snel ter plekke gereanimeerd worden met behulp van een AED. De reanimatie was succesvol: de man kon in stabiele toestand naar een nabijgelegen ziekenhuis gebracht worden \u00e9n liet zelf zijn team al snel weten zich beter te voelen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
