The school welcomes both local students and children from foreign families living and working in Belgium or the Netherlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campus includes three departments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Kindergarten<\/strong>&nbsp;(3\u20136 years)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Primary school<\/strong>&nbsp;(Ages 6\u201311)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>High school&nbsp;<\/strong>(11-18 years old)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With over 50 nationalities, 780 pupils, and 130 staff members, the school is a vibrant international community. Pupils obtain the European Baccalaureate there, which allows them to continue their studies or work throughout Europe, usually in three or even four languages.<br>The school in Mol is one of five Type I European Schools in Belgium (four of which are in Brussels), which are fully subsidized. In total, there are 30 European Schools spread across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Safety and Health at School<br><\/strong>Within the European School Mol&nbsp;<strong>Jeroen Jannis<\/strong>, as&nbsp;<em>Safety &amp; Security Officer<\/em>&nbsp;(internal prevention advisor), responsible for the policy on safety, security, and health for both students and employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Implementation of AEDs<br><\/strong>About eight to ten years ago, the school decided to place an AED in each building on campus. After extensive research, the school approached AED-Partner. They chose the Cardiac Science Powerheart G5, primarily because of its multilingual functionality, a crucial feature within the internationally composed school community.<br>11 AEDs were purchased, along with corresponding service contracts to ensure the devices are always well maintained and operational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Safety-conscious School<br><\/strong>The European School Mol places great importance on heart safety. In Primary School, students are introduced to resuscitation and its importance.
